Improved data flow between ECAD and PLM
Highstage PLM does not only manage E-CAD, but also M-CAD, SW and documents in complete product BOM structures. This makes all information available to the whole organization and provides the product- and project managers an excellent overview over the development and release progress. Management of product variants is also becoming a breeze, with optimum re-use of information.

The BOM/Schema interface is already creating efficiency at some of our joint customers. The PCB will be available within short time.

Highstage PLM is targeting small to medium sized corporations, and seeks to be deployed as early as possible in the life of a company. The tool is extremely customizable in a very simple way, and can be deployed step-by-step, to primarily support and streamline the existing processes. Highstage supports regulatory requirements, e.g. FDA CFR Part 11 for medical device development.
Highstage and OrCAD/Allegro integration
The integration is between Highstage PLM and OrCAD CIP (Component Information Portal) from Cadence. OrCAD/Allegro utilizes CIP as a storage system for paramtetric data in component management. This makes CIP the ideal point of contact for the integration with Highstage. CIP utilizes an SQL-server database in combination with a Web-app to provide users access to component information and changes in these.

- Capability for OrCAD/Allegro designers to utilize revision control for both designs and components
- Synchronization of component properties from CIP to Highstage.
- Convert temporary parts in CIP to persistent parts in Highstage
- Import of BOM-structures to Highstage from OrCad/Allegro
- Generate schema properties from Highstage to OrCad/Allegro
